Purpose

Displays the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) table.

Command Syntax

show arp [<ip_addr>]

Supplemental

Information

ARP is an Internet protocol used to map IP address to MAC addresses on equipment installed in a network. If an IP address is

entered (optional), it will show only the output of the specified address.

Parameters

<ip_addr>

IP address of a server in nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn.format
