configure ip multicast-routing

Purpose

Enables Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) forwarding.

Default Access Level

configure ip multicast-routing

configure ip multicast-routing no

Supplemental

Information

Note: PIM can only be enabled in the Source Specific Mode (SSM). Other PIM CLI provisioning commands will be disallowed if

multicast-routing is not enabled.

To disable IP multicast forwarding, use the no option.
