configure interface cable-mac * ip rip default-metric
Purpose
Sets the current protocol to the same metric value for all distributed routes and assure that metrics are compatible during route
redistribution.

configure interface cable-mac <mac[.s]> ip rip default-metric <0-16>
configure interface cable-mac <mac[.s]> ip rip default-metric [<0-16>] no

Information
To return to the default setting, use the no option.
Parameters
<mac[.s]>
The MAC identifier and optional sub interface.
<0-16>
Default metrics available. If the default route metric is set to 0, the default route is not advertised. Default is currently set at 0.
