Purpose

Sets the RIP update interval.

Default Access Level

Command Syntax

configure router rip [vrf <name>] timers update <interval>

configure router rip [vrf <name>] timers update [<interval>] no

Supplemental

Information

To restore the default value, use the no option.

Parameters

[vrf <name>]

Name of the assigned VRF.

RIP route update interval in seconds. Default is 30 seconds.
