Purpose

Configures the PIM router message (prune/join) interval.

configure interface cable-mac <mac[.s]> ip pim message-holdtime <int>

Information

To reset the hold time, use the no option.

Parameters

<mac[.s]>

The MAC identifier and optional sub interface.

<int>

Prune/join message interval in seconds
