List Available Show Commands
For a complete listing of all commands available at the show logging level, the CLI help (?) parameter is used. Execute the
show logging command with the "?" parameter as follows:
show logging ?
An output similar to the following example will occur:
console Display console logging related information
debug Display debug logging related information
history Display logging history related information
local Display local logging related information
monitor Display monitor logging related information
overrides Display any existing logging overrides
priority Displays information about the priority of specific notifications
proprietary Display proprietary logging status
snmp Display SNMP logging related information
syslog Display syslog logging related information
throttle Display logging threshold and interval
trap Display trap logging information

Note: As shown, the show logging command automatically appears in the prompt. Hitting <enter> on the keyboard, will
produce the output of the show logging command. See also see "Display Event Management Subsystems (page 1040).
Display Event Management Subsystems
The following command displays all event management subsystems and features available for logging configuration:
show logging
An output similar to the following example will result:
Throttle: type=unconstrained, threshold=0, interval=1, notifications=3118, throttled=2
Syslog: hosts (ip address facility):
10.50.42.3 local0
notifications=3116, throttled=0, dropped=535
priority=1(emergency), 2(alert), 3(critical), 4(error), 5(warning), 6(notice), 8(debug)
SNMP: notifications=955, throttled=2
priority=1(emergency), 2(alert), 3(critical), 4(error), 5(warning), 6(notice)
