Purpose
Configures the message of the day banner.

Command Syntax
configure banner motd {<character> <text> <character>}
configure banner motd {<character> <text> <character>} no

Information
Note: The configure banner motd command behaves differently on the command line that it does in the running-config.
To remove the message of the day banner, use the no option.
Parameters
<character>
Where <character> is the delimiting character used to begin and end the message. Recommended characters could include but are
not limited to: @ # $ % ^ & * ~ \ /.
<text>
The information you define as the message. Maximum is 100 lines.
