CLI Commands for BPI Hybrid Mode
Use the following commands to enable (disable) BPI Hybrid Mode:
configure operation mode bpiHybrid [no]
The no form of the command disables the feature.
Use the following command to show the operational mode:
show operation mode
The following is an example of the output returned by the system. It displays which upper level features are enabled for
cable modems:
Enabled : (dqossf10cms) Allow 1.0 CMs in DocsQosServiceFlowEntry
Enabled : (adjrxpwrctl) Allow adjustment of rx power control by mod type
Enabled : (enbudptcpfltr) Allow combining of Udp and Tcp messages in same filter
Disabled : (DSPeakTrafficRateTLV2516) Use old MULPI spec (TLV 25.16) for DS Peak Traf Rate instead of new spec (TLV
25.2
Enabled : (cmstatusoperational) Allow modem status at the CMTS to reach operational(8)
Disabled : (docsis20test) DOCSIS 2.0 Testing
Disabled : (upstreamLockupDetect) Detection of upstream channel lockups
Enabled : (upstreamLockupDetectLong) Upstream lockup detection uses longer data sampling interval
Disabled : (showCmFormatCV) Force alternative output of "show cable modem"
Disabled : (bpiDynamicMulticast) Allow BPI dynamic multicast
Disabled : (docsis10plus) Docsis 1.0+ support
Disabled : (downstreamOverride) Downstream Frequency Override

Enabled : (virtualCm) Allow Virtual cable modems
Disabled : (bpiHybrid) Allow upgraded DOCSIS 1.0 modems to operate using BPI+
Disabled : (ignore1D8UCmDsMaxTrafBurst) CMs will use the C4's DSMaxTrafBurst value regardless of CM config file on
a 1D8U (DOCSIS 1.1 CMs only)
If you want your configuration changes to persist after a reboot, write them to disk:
write memory
