configure key chain
Purpose
Enters the mode to enable authentication for routing protocols by identifying a group of authentication keys.

Command Syntax
configure key chain <key chain name>
configure key chain <key chain name> no
Supplemental
Information
Routing Information Protocol (RIP) Version 2 uses key chains. You must configure a key chain with keys to enable authentication.
To remove a key chain and all of its associated keys, use the no option.
Parameters
<key chain name>
A text string up to 16 characters long.
