configure ip multicast mac-ip

Purpose

Sets the MAC destination address used when forwarding packets for a given multicast IP destination address.

Command Syntax

configure ip multicast mac-ip <ip_multicast_addr> <mac_addr>

configure ip multicast mac-ip <ip_multicast_addr> [<mac_addr>] no

Supplemental

Information

To reset the MAC/IP binding for an IP multicast group to the RFC standard, use the no option.

Parameters

<ip_multicast_addr>

Multicast group IP address.

<mac_addr>

MAC destination address.
