The following attributes are included in the Access-Request packet:
User Name (user ID)
Password
The NAS-Identifier is the host name of the C4/c CMTS (it is fully-qualified, if possible).
The NAS-Port-Type attribute is either Async (0) if the originating line is a console line or Virtual (5) if the originating line
is a vty line.
The NAS-Port attribute is the line number of the originating line.
The Service-Type attribute is either NAS Prompt (7) for login authentication or Administrative (6) for enable
authentication.
The C4/c CMTS also supports the inclusion of Session-Timeout and Idle-Timeout attributes in the Access-Accept packet.
The C4/c CMTS outputs all Reply-Message attributes received in Access-Accept packets to the originating line, up to a
maximum of 8 attributes. Multiple Reply-Message attributes are displayed in the same order as they appear in the packet.
This allows the operator to place MOTDs or welcome messages in Access-Accept packets.
The following table shows the attributes that the C4/c CMTS does not include in Access-Request packets. These attributes
are ignored by the C4/c CMTS if received in Access-Accept or Access-Reject packets. The services represented by these
attributes are not supported by the C4/c CMTS.
