12.2.9.1 ip dhcp server
Use this command to enable DHCP server features on a routing interface.
ip dhcp server
Syntax Description
None.
Command Syntax of the “no” Form
The “no” form of this command disables DHCP server features on one or all
routing interfaces:
no ip dhcp
Command Type
Router command.
Command Mode
Interface configuration: Matrix>Router1(config-if(Vlan 1))#
Command Defaults
None.
Example
This example shows how to enable DHCP server on VLAN 1:
Matrix>Router1(config)#interface vlan 1
Matrix>Router1(config-if(Vlan 1))ip dhcp server
