12.2.9.12 bootfile
Use this command to specify the default boot image for a DHCP client.
bootfile filename
Syntax Description
Command Syntax of the “no” Form
The “no” form of this command deletes the boot image association:
no bootfile
Command Type
Router command.
Command Mode
Any DHCP configuration mode.
Command Defaults
None.
Example
This example shows how to specify “dhcpboot” as the boot image file in the “localpool” address
pool:
filename Specifies the boot image file name.
Matrix>Router1(config)#ip dhcp pool localpool
Matrix>Router1(config-dhcp-pool)#bootfile dhcpboot
