DESCRIPTION
This command is entered in the Interface Configuration Mode. This command is
used to administratively bring down the interface.
PARAMETERS
None.
EXAMPLE
ALU(config-if switchport1/0)# shutdown

speed {10|100|1000|auto}
DESCRIPTION
This command is entered in the Interface Configuration Mode. This command
configures the interface speed.
PARAMETERS
None.
DEFAULT VALUE
The default speed is “auto”.
