SERVICE-POLICY <CHILD POLICY-MAP NAME>
service-policy <child policy-map name>
DESCRIPTION
This command is entered in the Class Mode. This command sets a policy-map as
a child policy.
Note: Direction parameter is not required here.
PARAMETERS

None.
EXAMPLE
Create policies p1 and p2 and configure traffic class c1 and c2 in each of the
policy.
ALU(config)# policy-map p1
ALU(config-qos-p1)# class c1
ALU(config-qos-p1-c1)#
ALU(config)# policy-map p2
ALU(config-qos-p1)# class c2
ALU(config-qos-p1-c2)#
Now, policy p2 can be included in the policy p1 using the ‘service-policy
command.
ALU(config)# policy-map p1
ALU(config-qos-p1)# class c1
ALU(config-qos-p1-c1)# service-policy p2
