DISTANCE OSPF
distance ospf {external|inter-area|intra-area} <1-255>}}
DESCRIPTION
This command is entered in the Router Configuration Mode.
This command performs the same function as the distance command used with
an access list. However, the ‘distance ospf’ command allows you to set a distance
for an entire group of routes, rather than a specific route that passes an access
list.
PARAMETERS
DEFAULT VALUE
The default distance for each type is 110.
EXAMPLE
ALU(config-router ospf 30)# distance ospf external 10
Parameter Description
external <1-255> Sets the distance for routes from other routing domains,
learned by redistribution.
inter-area <1-
255>
Sets the distance for all routes from one area to another
area.
intra-area <1-
255>
Sets the distance for all routes within an area.
