NEIGHBOR UPDATE-SOURCE
neighbor {<ip-address>|<peer-group-name>} update-source
<interface-name>
DESCRIPTION
This command is entered in the Router Configuration Mode. This command is
used to configure the software to allow BGP sessions to use a particular interface
for TCP connections.
PARAMETERS
DEFAULT VALUE
By default, IP address of the interface connected to neighbor is used for TCP
connection.
EXAMPLE
ALU(config-router bgp AS30)#neighbor 1.1.1.1 update-source
GigabitEthernet 3/0
Parameter Description
ip-address IP address of the BGP-speaking neighbor.
peer-group-name Name of a BGP peer group.
interface-name Name of the interface with its slot/port or interface number.
