CRYPTO KEY GENERATE RSA
crypto key generate rsa <512-4096> <name> [bg]
DESCRIPTION
This command is entered in the Configuration Mode. This command generates an
RSA key pair.
PARAMETERS
EXAMPLE
ALU(config)#crypto key generate rsa 1024 exampleKey
% The generated keys will be named examplekey

Parameter Description
512-4096 Modulus length of the key generated.
name Name that will be used to identify the
key.
bg This is used to generate keys in the
background when modulus is greater
than 2000.
