DESCRIPTION
This command is entered in the Interface Configuration Mode. This command is
used to reset the configurable 802.1X parameters to the default values.
PARAMETERS
None.
DEFAULT VALUE
None.
EXAMPLE
ALU(config-if switchport5/0)# dot1x default
DOT1X HOST-MODE
dot1x host-mode {multi-host|multi-auth}
DESCRIPTION
This command is entered in the Interface Configuration Mode.
This command is used to allow multiple hosts (clients) or multiple authentication
on an 802.1X-authorized port. Make sure that the port-based authentication for
the specified L2 interface is set to ‘auto’.
PARAMETERS
DEFAULT VALUE
The default is single host mode.
EXAMPLE
ALU(config-if switchport5/0)# dot1x host-mode multi-host

multi-host Choose this keyword to allow multiple
hosts (clients) on an 802.1X-authorized
port.
multi-auth Choose this keyword to allow multiple
authentication on an 802.1X-authorized
port.
