PART III- WAN INTERFACES
This part details the commands to configure a T1 or an E1 interface in Chapter 11
“T1E1 Line Card”.
Chapter 12 “Universal Serial Port (USP) Line Card” provides the CLI
commands for the USP Line Card (V.35/ X.21).
Chapter 13 “High-level Data Link Control” documents the CLI commands for
High Level Data Link Control (HDLC) Protocol. These commands are used to
configure HDLC encapsulation on a T1 or an E1 interface.
Chapter 14 “Frame Relay” documents the Frame-Relay (FR) CLI commands.
These commands are used to configure FR encapsulation on a T1 or an E1
interface.
Chapter 15 “Point to Point Protocol” documents the CLI commands for the
Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP). These commands are used to configure PPP
encapsulation on a T1 or an E1 interface.
Chapter 16 “Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE)” provides the CLI
commands for Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) encapsulation on a
Gigabit Ethernet interface.
Chapter 17 “Multilink Point to Point Protocol” documents the CLI commands
for the Multilink Point-to-Point Protocol (MLPPP). These commands are used to
configure Multilink PPP encapsulation on a T1 or E1 line card.
Chapter 18 “Multilink Frame Relay” documents the CLI commands for the
Multilink Frame Relay Protocol (MLFR). These commands are used to configure
Multilink Frame Relay encapsulation on a T1 or an E1 line card.
Chapter 19 “Ethernet OAM (Operations, Administration, and Maintenance)”
deals with CLI commands for configuring Ethernet OAM on OmniAccess 5740
USG.
Chapter 20 “Bridging Configuration” covers the CLI commands used to
configure bridging on OmniAccess 5740 USG.
Chapter 21 “Link Fragmentation and Interleaving (LFI)” provides the CLI
commands for Link Fragmentation and Interleaving on a MLPPP and Frame
Relay interface.
