enable bootp vlan
enable bootp vlan [<vlan name> | all]
Description
Enables the generation and processing of BOOTP packets on a VLAN to obtain an IP address for the
VLAN from a BOOTP server.
Syntax Description
Default
Enabled for all VLANs.
Usage Guidelines
None.
Example
The following command enables the generation and processing of BOOTP packets on a VLAN named
accounting:
enable bootp vlan accounting
History
This command was available in ExtremeWare 2.0.
Platform Availability
This command is available on all platforms.
vlan name Specifies a VLAN name.
all Specifies all VLANs.
