save configuration {primary | secondary}
Description
Saves the current configuration from the switch’s runtime memory to non-volatile memory.
Syntax Description
Default
Saves the current configuration to the location used on the last reboot.
Usage Guidelines
The configuration takes effect on the next reboot.
Example
The following command save the current switch configuration in the secondary configuration area:
save configuration secondary
History
This command was available in ExtremeWare 2.0.
Platform Availability
This command is available on all platforms.
primary Specifies the primary saved configuration.
secondary Specifies the secondary saved configuration.
