show mpls vpls {summary | detail | <vpls_name> {detail | | peer
[<ipaddress> | <host_name>]} | peer [<ipaddress> | <host_name>] {detail}}
Description
Displays VPLS configuration and status information.
Syntax Description

Usage Guidelines
This command displays VPLS configuration and status information. The
show mpls vpls
command
(without specifying any optional parameters) displays all currently configured VPLS instances for the
switch. Information displayed includes the VPLS name, IP addresses of peers, peer mode, VC-LSP state,
and local egress VLAN or ports. If the
vpls_name
is specified, information is displayed for the specified
vpls. If the
optional
detail
keyword is specified, additional information is displayed in
comprehensive detail format. The detail format additionally displays transmit and receive packet and
byte counts. Optionally, specifying the peer keyword qualified by the
ipaddress
or
host_name
, displays
VPLS information for the specified peer in detailed format. If the peer keyword is specified and is
unqualified by a vpls_name, all VPLS instances that the peer is a member of are displayed. The
summary
keyword displays a set of summary counts. The counts include the number of VPLS instances,
configured VPLS peers, active VPLS peers, targeted LDP sessions, VC-LSPs, and errors.

Platform Availability
This command is available on the BlackDiamond switch.

detail Displays additional information in comprehensive detail format.
ipaddress Displays all VPLS instances of which the peer is a member, as specified.
host_name Displays all VPLS instances of which the peer is a member, as specified.
detail (peer) Specifies all VPLS.
