show iproute
ExtremeWare Software 7.3.0 Command Reference Guide 1245
The
mpls
keyword only applies to some of the options available on the show iproute command. The
mpl
s keyword is ignored when specified in conjunction with the following options:
• priority
• route-map
• summary
If a route is active and in use, it is preceded in the display by an “*”. If there are multiple routes to the
same destination network, the “*” will indicate which route is the most preferable route.
The
Use
and
M-Use
fields indicate the number of times the route table entry is being used for packet
forwarding decisions. The
Use
field indicates a count for unicast routing while the
M-Use
field indicates
a count for multicast routing. If the use count is going up unexpectedly, the software is making route
decisions and should be investigated further.
