19 WATCHDOG TIMER –
ADSP-2147X
The ADSP-2147x processors include a 32-bit watchdog timer (WDT)
that can be used to implement a software watchdog function. The timer
can improve system reliability by forcing the processor to a known state
through generation of a system reset if the timer expires before being
reloaded by software. The WDT specifications are shown in Table 19-1.
