RIP COMMANDS
PASSIVE
-INTERFACE (RIP)
passive-interface (RIP)
Overview Use this command to block RIP broadcasts on the interface.
Use the no variant of this command to disable this function.
Syntax
passive-interface <interface>
no passive-interface <interface>
Default Disabled
Mode RIP Router Configuration
Example Use the following commands to block RIP broadcasts on vlan2:
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# router rip
awplus(config-router)# passive-interface vlan2
