MULTICAST HANDLE-IGMP-IMMEDIATELY
ip multicast handle-igmp-immediately
Overview Use this command to allow traffic to be switched as soon as an IGMP report is
received.
Use the no variant of this command to revert to the default setting.
Syntax
ip multicast handle-igmp-immediately
no ip multicast handle-igmp-immediately
Default Turned off. This means that traffic will be switched after either a 1 second delay or
if the IGMP buffer fills with 250 packets.
Mode Global Configuration
Example To turn on this feature, use the commands:
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# ip multicast handle-igmp-immediately
