Overview Use this command to add a description to a specific port or interface.
Syntax
description <description>
Mode Interface Configuration
Example The following example uses this command to describe the device that an interface
is connected to.
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface port1.0.2
awplus(config-if)# description Boardroom PC

<description> Text describing the specific interface. Descriptions can contain any
printable ASCII characters (ASCII 32-126).
