ALARM MONITORING COMMANDS
ALARM
FACILITY MAIN-PSE LED
alarm facility main-pse led
Overview Use this command to make the fault LED flash if the total power consumed by all
of the PoE devices plugged into the switch exceeds the maximum PoE output
permitted.
Use the no variant of this command to remove this alarm.
Syntax
alarm facility main-pse led
no alarm facility main-pse led
Default By default, there are no alarms

Usage notes You can also use a relay to trigger an external alarm output, such as a buzzer, by
using the command alarm facility main-pse relay.
Example To flash the LED if the total power consumed by all of the PoE devices plugged into
the switch exceeds the maximum PoE output permitted, use the commands:
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# alarm facility main-pse led
To remove that alarm, use the commands:
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# no alarm facility main-pse led
