LOG
The following table lists the parameters shown in the output of the show log |
include ARP_LOG command. The ARP log message format is:
<date> <time> <severity> <hostname> <program-name> 
ARP_LOG <port-number> <vid> <operation> <MAC> <IP>

Table 22-1: Parameters in the output from show log | include ARP_LOG
Parameter Description
ARP_LOG Indicates that ARP log entry information follows.
<port-number> Indicates device port number for the ARP log entry.
<vid> Indicates the VLAN ID for the ARP log entry.
<operation> Indicates “add” if the ARP log entry displays an ARP addition.
Indicates “del” if the ARP log entry displays an ARP deletion.
<MAC> Indicates the MAC address for the ARP log entry, either in the
default hexadecimal notation (HHHH.HHHH.HHHH) or in the
IEEE standard format hexadecimal notation
(HH-HH-HH-HH-HH-HH) as specified with the arp log or the arp
log mac-address-format ieee command.
<IP> Indicates the IP address for the ARP log entry.
