24.4.1.1 McSPI Revision Register (MCSPI_REVISION)
The McSPI system configuration register (MCSPI_REVISION) allows control of various parameters of the
module interface. It is not sensitive to software reset. The MCSPI_REVISION register is shown in
Figure 24-26 and described in Table 24-11.

31-30 SCHEME Used to distinguish between old scheme and current.
0 Legacy ASP or WTBU scheme
1 Revision 0.8 scheme
29-28 Reserved 0 Read returns 0.
27-16 FUNC 030h Function indicates a software compatible module family.
If there is no level of software compatibility a new Func number (and hence REVISION)
should be assigned.
